About Tejas Science PU College
The brainchild of Dr.Murugesh Nirani, a visionary industrialist, is hailed from a small village named Basav Hanchal in Bagalkot district. The founder started the institution in 2017 having no compromises either with the infrastructure or with any other academic materialistic provisions.
The institution began with a broad vision of ‘PURA’-Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas. Our Tejas PU College though it is built in Baglkot still succeeded in introducing a qualitative, innovative and modern technology-oriented education to not only Baglkot city but also to the rest remote rustic areas around Baglkot district. The founder sowed this seed called Tejas educational institution and handed over the sapling to Ms. Madhuri Mudhol, the president. The president madam with her transparent, visionary and integrity-oriented leadership, has been watering, grooming and nourishing this sapling since the beginning and has transformed the sapling like institution into a gigantic tree. With her administrative skills, madam has made the institution stand tall among and across the other institutions of Bagalkot district.

Dr. Murugesh Nirani, a self-made industrialist and one of the foremost engineers from his native Basav Hanchinal, a small village in Bilagi Taluk, Bagalkot district. Today’s Tejas Educational Institutions are the envisions and dreams of the Esteemed Patron, Dr.Murugesh Nirani. Coming from a small village, our Esteemed Patron faced numerous hurdles as per attaining success in gaining education is concerned. This meant, he with his friends had to have a longer walks to fetch his Degree Education with no proper transport facility, no proper guidance. Hence, thinking that the rural areas’ students should not be deprived of higher education, our Esteemed Patron thought of beginning his venture- Tejas Science PU College in his native district place Bagalkot. So that students from rural areas can easily obtain higher education with all the facilities that are available in urban colleges. Therefore, Tejas PU College emerged and stood as one of the dignified institutions of Baglkot district.

BRIDGE COURSE
The bridge course we offer for 10th-grade students is a preparatory course designed to strengthen foundational knowledge before the 11th-grade syllabus begins, with a focus on filling gaps in subjects like science and math. We help students build confidence, better understand concepts, and improve performance in PU studies and competitive exams. The course cover essential basics, such as molecular formulas, periodic table, cell types, light, and electricity, and often include activities, notes, and practice tests.
TALENT TEST FOR 10TH STD PASSES STUDENTS
Tejas PU Science College conducts a talent test TSAT (TEJAS SCHOLASTICS APTITUTDE TEST ) for 10th-grade students which Is a scholarship exam , designed to identify and support academically gifted students for studying PUC I and II with us . This exam assess a student’s aptitude, critical thinking, and subject knowledge, and provide financial assistance for their future studies with us .
What it is ?
- To identify and financially support talented and meritorious students who have passed 10th grade and continue PU I AND II with us .
- Awards scholarships to help cover costs for PUC education.
- The TEJAS scholarship can support students through Class 11–12.
CRASH COURSE
We at Tejas provide an intensive, short-term coaching program designed for students to efficiently revise and practice for their exams with a crash course for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test). These courses typically run for a few weeks to a few months just before the exams. We provide a comprehensive, exam-oriented revision of the syllabus in a limited time. We focus on high-yield topics, effective exam strategies, and extensive problem-solving practice.
ENGLISH ORIENTATION FOR VERNACULAR MEDIUM STUDENTS
An English orientation program for Kannada-medium students is designed to help them bridge the linguistic gap, overcome hesitation, and build a strong foundation in English. The program focuses on all four core language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW).
